Co-founder and CEO of Voodoo Manufacturing & BrookLabs

Max Friefeld is the co-founder and CEO of Voodoo Manufacturing. He is also the co-founder and CEO of BrookLabs, a medical device company that manufactures clear orthodontic aligners. Before co-founding Voodoo Manufacturing, Friefeld was a co-founder of Layer by Layer, an online marketplace for 3D printable designs acquired by MakerBot in 2014. Its software-driven factory of more than 127 desktop 3D printers can handle orders from one to 11,000 parts. The company has raised $250,000 in funding to date.

In 2016, Friefeld was named to Forbes 30 Under 30 list under the Manufacturing and Industry category.

Friefeld has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Digital Engineering from Harvey Mudd College.
