Max Joseph

Filmmaker and Co-Host on MTV's "Catfish"

Max Joseph is a filmmaker who grew up New York, lives in Los Angeles, and shoots all over the world. He often refers to himself as the 'other guy' because of his roles in the Nike: Make It Count video and Nev Schulman's right hand man on MTV's "Catfish: The TV Show."

He has been lucky enough to have his films screen at many of his favorite, most respected, festivals like Sundance, Telluride, and SXSW. Joseph has directed (and edited) award-winning commercials for big brands like Nike, Pepsi, Starbucks, TOMS and Toyota Prius. He also formerly served as Creative Director of Video at GOOD Magazine where he wrote and directed over 60 short films. His work has screened at Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM), the Gagosian Gallery in New York and has been featured many times on the front pages of YouTube, FunnyOrDie, and DailyMotion accumulating over 30 million views so far.

In 2014 he wrote and directed his first feature-length movie for Working Title Films, which he also co-wrote.

"Catfish: The TV Show" is currently in it's third season on MTV.
