Maya Rudolph

Maya Rudolph is an actress, comedian, and singer. In the mid-1990s, she first gained prominence as a member of the alternative rock band The Rentals and later joined The Groundlings improv troupe. In 2000, she joined the cast of the NBC late-night sketch comedy series "Saturday Night Live" and has since made several cameo appearances. Aside from "SNL," she is also known for her roles in films such as 50 First Dates, A Prairie Home Companion, and Idiocracy.
After leaving "Saturday Night Live" in 2007, Rudolph has starred in films such as Grown Ups, Bridesmaids, Grown Ups 2, Inherent Vice, Sisters, CHiPs, Wine Country, and Disenchanted. She has also demonstrated her voice acting skills in animated films like Shrek the Third, Big Hero 6, and The Angry Birds Movie. Rudolph starred in the NBC sitcom "Up All Night" and co-hosted the variety show "Maya & Marty" with Martin Short. She has also made appearances in various television shows, including "City of Angels," "Chicago Hope," "Kath & Kim," and "The Simpsons," and voices a character in Netflix's "Big Mouth."
For her recurring portrayal of Vice President Kamala Harris on "Saturday Night Live," she won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series. She also received three Primetime Emmy Award nominations for playing the Judge in the comedy series "The Good Place." Outside of acting, Rudolph is the co-owner of a production company called Animal Pictures with Natasha Lyonne and has been the spokesperson for M&M's. She continues to make contributions to the film and television industry, with her most recent work being her executive production and starring role in the comedy series "Loot" in 2022.
