In 2013, Megan embarked on a school project the later became the launch to her career as an advocate in the disability community. Working with her teachers, she created a film called “Don’t Limit Me” aimed to demonstrate how individuals with disabilities thrive from inclusive environments. The video went viral which led to requests for speaking engagements all over the world. She has since starred on the A&E Emmy Award winning reality show Born This Way and has published her first children’s book called Born to Sparkle. Bomgaars’ passion is to advocate for diversity and inclusion for all people.
