Mehdi Hasan, a British-American broadcaster and author, began his television career as a researcher and producer at ITV's "Jonathan Dimbleby" program. He then worked for several notable media organizations such as The Huffington Post, Al Jazeera English, and The Intercept. Hasan hosted "The Mehdi Hasan Show" on Peacock and MSNBC and filled in as a host on other MSNBC shows, including "All In with Chris Hayes" and "The Rachel Maddow Show." He also contributed to BBC's "Question Time," "The Big Questions," and "Sunday Morning Live" and hosted the podcast "Deconstructed."

As an author, Hasan penned "Win Every Argument" and co-authored a biography of former Labour Party leader Ed Miliband. He was recognized for his contributions to journalism with the Services to Media award at the British Muslim Awards in 2014 and the Society of Professional Journalists Sigma Delta Chi Award for Online Column Writing in 2019. His interviewing skills have been demonstrated in his interactions with renowned figures such as Mark Ruffalo, Jon Stewart, John Bolton, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on his shows.

Hasan has actively participated in political and social debates, challenging statements made by Donald Trump regarding his financial interests in Saudi Arabia and expressing opposition to the Saudi government. He has been involved in the coverage of the Middle East conflict on MSNBC and has been a guest on C-SPAN and Al Jazeera's UpFront. In addition, Hasan has spoken at various conferences and events on topics such as media ethics, politics, and international relations, and has been a speaker at the European Young Leaders program and the Sigma Delta Chi Awards.
