Mr. Baghai is the Managing Director of Alchemy Growth Partners, a boutique venture and advisory firm in Sydney, Australia, which he founded in 2005, based on the principles endorsed in his international best seller, The Alchemy of Growth.

He is also co-author of the recently published sequel, The Granularity of Growth.

Education &Career Mr. Baghai received a BSE, with highest honours in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Princeton University, where he also completed a joint degree in Public Policy at the Woodrow Wilson School. He continued his education in Public Policy at Harvard University where he completed an M.P.P. as a Kennedy Fellow at the Kennedy School of Government. Thereafter he graduated with high honours from Harvard Law School, where he specialized in Negotiation and International Contracting.

Mr Baghai's professional career is as illustrious as his academic. He was an Executive Director at the CSIRO, Australia's national science agency. Prior to joining CSIRO, he was the Chairman and CEO of a healthcare technology venture in Los Angeles. Previously, he was a partner in the Sydney and Toronto offices of McKinsey and Company and co-leader of the firm's global growth practice. He served clients in the technology, media and financial services sector. As an attorney, he was called to the state bar in New York and Massachusetts and was also an Associate with Coudert Brothers in New York and Stroock & Stroock & Lavan in LA.

Mr Baghai's public sector experience includes a role as an economist with the World Bank, where he helped to negotiate a structural adjustment loan for Morocco and the UN Secretariat where he worked on a project aimed at reducing bureaucracy. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of Unicef, Australia and has worked on social and economic development projects for the education of children in Albania.

Books He is the co author of, The Alchemy of Growth, an international best-seller, which has been published in ten languages; and The Granularity of Growth.
