Mei-Li Hey is a Mechanical Design Engineer for Northrop Grumman and spent the past 5 years on the recently-launched James Webb Space Telescope program. On this program, Hey was the Team Lead for Floor Support Operations, as well as Work Plan Manager for a subset of Mechanical Ground Systems Engineering (MGSE) end items. Through these experiences, along with the acquisition of a Master’s degree in Engineering Management, Hey has gained valuable experience in leadership.

Hey is also the President and Co-Founder of a non-profit called Atwero, whose mission is to improve sanitation for persons with disabilities and create inclusive sanitation infrastructure to be implemented in low-income countries. Currently, Atwero operates out of Uganda.
