Meredith Myers

Meredith Myers is a full-time lecturer in the Management Department, working with the Undergraduate Leadership Division to co-instruct the core leadership course, Management 100: Leadership and Communication in Groups. As a Wharton undergraduate in the dual-degree Huntsman Program in International Studies and Business, Meredith was herself a student in the same course and later one of its many, dedicated TAs. Meredith has experienced her return to the program in January 2009 as a wonderful opportunity to “come full circle”, and she is grateful to re-join her passionate colleagues and TAs in the MGMT 100 community.

Meredith has lived in France and Mexico, where she trained in mediation and conflict resolution approaches specific to the Latin American context. Meredith is currently in the Ph.D. program in Organizational Behavior at the Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University and is completing her dissertation.

Meredith’s primary research explores how relationships evolve in international partnerships or strategic alliances between corporations and non-profit organizations. This work has taken her to various countries in Latin America, as well as India, Brazil, and the US, and she is always looking for new partnerships to study. In the past year, she has co-developed and launched a website to support first- year faculty across universities. The success of this initiative has sparked her additional research interest in online developmental networks and scaling-up web initiatives to include multiple stakeholders.

If Meredith is not teaching, researching, or coaching, then she is likely to be found dancing tango somewhere in Philadelphia or beyond.
