Jodie Comer is an English actress best known for her role as Russian assassin Oksana Astankova (aka Villanelle) on BBC's "Killing Eve," a performance that won her the British Academy Television Award for Best Actress (BAFTA). Comer is known for being able to switch between accents seamlessly and believably, a trait that her character on "Killing Eve" possesses as well.

Prior to her breakthrough role as Oksana, Comer starred as Ivy Moxam on British TV show "Thirteen." Already a critic's darling, Comer received her first BAFTA Best Actress nod for her word on that show.

In February 2019, Forbes included Comer in their 30 Under 30 List for Influential People in Europe under age 30.

She won a plethora of awards for her role in Killing Eve in 2019, including a Royal Television Society award for Best Female Actor, British Academy Television Awards for Best Actress, TV Choice Awards for Best Actress, and a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.

Comer is currently filming for The Last Duel. The film will release worldwide on 15 October 2021. She will portray Marguerite de Carrouges, the lead female role.
