Networking Rules!

Imagine if there were rules posted at every networking event you attended including association meetings, conferences, conventions, trade shows, chamber mixers, golf outings, and community venues. Have no fear! The Rules of Networking are here! Learn the Rules of Networking and how to act at a networking event.

Knock-Out Networking!

Boxing, like networking, is a contact sport. The more and better contacts you make, the more wildly successful you will be!

But times are tough. Making a sale and growing a business ain’t what it used to be. Just a few years ago we did it without websites, email, blogs, domain names, texting, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Google pages. And yes, there was life before Facebook.

Well, despite all that technology has allowed us to do, one thing hasn’t changed. Those with the most contacts, best relationships, and greatest understanding of how to utilize them will succeed. Networking is the best way to make those contacts, develop those relationships, and achieve success.

Participants will learn:

  • How to overcome the fear of networking.
  • The difference between networking and selling.
  • How to almost eliminate rejection.
  • How to have meaningful conversations without being salesy.
  • The right way to deliver an effective “elevator speech”.
  • How to tactfully transition and end conversations.
  • How to identify the right target market.
  • How to follow up and develop the relationship.
  • How to stay in touch and create key relationships.
  • How to implement a networking action plan.
