Michael Kranish is the Washington bureau deputy chief for The Boston Globe. Kranish is co-author of The Real Romney, a biography of Mitt Romney produced by the Globe. He is also the co-author of John F. Kerry: The Complete Biography and Flight from Monticello: Thomas Jefferson at War. Kranish began his newspaper career in Florida at the Lakeland Ledger and The Miami Herald and then became the New England correspondent for The Boston Globe. Since 1988, Kranish has served in the paper’s Washington bureau, covering the White House, Congress, national affairs, and presidential campaigns.
