Michael Michele

Actress & Fashion Designer

Michael Michele is an actress and fashion designer. In 1989, after a few minor TV roles and parts in commercials, Michele's big break happened when she was cast in Mario Van Peebles's gritty urban drama "New Jack City" in 1991. The following year she was a regular on the short-lived TV series "Dangerous Curves," and later in the mini-series "Trade Winds." Her performance led to recurring roles on "New York Undercover" and "Central Park West."

After appearances in a handful of feature films, Michele scored another major TV role in the series "Homicide: Life on the Street" in 1998. She turned in her badge a year later to step up to the top-rated medical drama "ER," where, between 1999 and 2001, she appeared as Dr. Cleo Finch. Michele's well-regarded work on that series boosted her stock in the film industry, and, in 2003, she appeared in two major motion pictures, "How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days" and "Dark Blue."

She returned to television in 2004, with a starring role in the legal drama series "Kevin Hill." Michele later starred on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" and in two episodes of "House" as a doctor who had previously worked with the CIA. In 2009 Michele starred in the Hallmark Channel film "Relative Stranger" with fellow ER cast member Eriq La Salle, and the CW teen drama "Gossip Girl."

In 2017, Michele starred as Ayanna Floyd in the Fox prime time soap opera "Star", and in 2019 joined The CW prime time soap opera "Dynasty."
