Michael Murphy's keynotes explore the topic of socially conscious architectural design. Murphy, the CEO and Co-Founder at MASS Design Group is one of the forward thinking minds of today that doesn't believe that design has to be compromised for a greener, more sustainable world.

Educated at The University of Chicago where he received his BA in English and Literature with honors, Murphy went on to attend the Harvard University Graduate School of Design where he graduated in Architecture.

Since his education, Murphy has been a Fellow at Hart Howerton and gone on to Co-Found MASS Design Group. MASS is described as "a design firm geared towards improving social equity and health outcomes through design innovation." In 2012, MASS was awarded with the Designer of the Year award from Contract Magazine and 2010's Fast Company Magazine's "Master of Design" winner.
