Michael Myers is a managing director at The Rockefeller Foundation. He leads the foundation’s global health work, including its Transforming Health Systems initiative and the campaign for universal health coverage, and coordinates strategies for its work in the United States with a focus on building inclusive economies in cities. Prior to joining The Rockefeller Foundation in 2010, Myers served in leadership capacities in the US Senate for much of his career, including chief counsel and staff director to the late senator Edward M. Kennedy. He previously worked on refugee and international humanitarian matters for nongovernmental organizations and the United Nations high commissioner for refugees.
