Cofounder and Chief Engineer at FutureAir

Michael Wang is the cofounder of FutureAir, a New York-based startup building connected air conditioners and fans that help reduce wasted cooling and carbon emissions. He is also an adjunct assistant professor of electrical engineering at Columbia University, where he helped develop the engineering school's internet-of-things curriculum.

At the intersection of engineering, design, technology and well being, Michael Wang is applying his combined expertise in IoT connectivity and electrical engineering to building a new generation of air-cooling products that will help reduce carbon pollution for a healthier home and a cleaner planet.

As an IoT connectivity specialist, Michael has paired with a world-renowned industrial designer to reimagine the world of indoor air.
