Michelle Weise is an accomplished scholar, entrepreneur, and author recognized for her expertise in the future of work and education. She has extensive experience in higher education, workforce development, and innovation. Michelle has worked at the intersection of education and the labor market, focusing on how to better align learning pathways with career opportunities, particularly in the context of a rapidly changing economy. She leads Rise & Design, a consulting firm.

Weise is the author of "Long-Life Learning: Preparing for Jobs That Don’t Even Exist Yet," a book that explores the future of work and the evolving needs of learners in an age of technological disruption. Her insights have been widely sought after, and she has contributed to major publications and conferences on topics related to education, workforce development, and lifelong learning.

In her career, Michelle has held leadership roles in various organizations, including serving as the Vice President of Workforce Strategies at Strada Education Network and as Chief Innovation Officer at Southern New Hampshire University's Sandbox ColLABorative. She has also been a Senior Research Fellow in higher education at the Clayton Christensen Institute for Disruptive Innovation, where she co-authored "Hire Education: Mastery, Modularization, and the Workforce Revolution," a book that examines the future of higher education.
