Mickey English is a 15 year morning and afternoon radio personality who's story is inspirational. He grew up as a kid in Cleveland, Ohio and endured growing up in an abusive alcoholic home, spent time in juvenile detention centers, group homes and finally being incarcerated for two years of his life at age 14 after being declared a menace to society. In his 20's Mickey got his first job in radio working on a morning show at the legendary WMMS in Cleveland. Since then he has worked in Miami, Dallas, Portland, Hartford, Ft.Myers and NY. He battled substance abuse and suicide on and off in his late teens through his 30's, until finally finding recovery at age 36. He is 41 years old and has an unbelievable way of getting thru to the younger generations with his message of hope and change... which is done with humor, sadness, love and joy. Mickey is a great speaker for ALL demographics and has a great impact on the recovery community wherever he goes. He sponsors several young men around the country, all of which are still clean today.
