Beginning his journey in the music industry without the aid of a record label, MICO has managed to captivate a global audience, evidenced by over 60 million streams of his music worldwide. He began his journey by singing in Discord servers and Twitch streams, and his unique sound, paired with his relatable lyrics, has resonated with listeners, earning him a following of more than 750,000 online "amicos" and over 60 million global streams. This connection with his audience became palpable when MICO's radio hit "cut my hair" catalyzed a sold-out debut show in late 2022.

Capitalizing on the momentum, MICO released an EP titled "the tears we fight" in September following his debut.
