Mike Conley Jr. is a professional basketball player for the Minnesota Timberwolves in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He began his NBA journey when he was drafted as the 4th overall pick in 2007 by the Memphis Grizzlies. His career with the Grizzlies spanned 12 years, during which he led the team to six playoff appearances and became the franchise's all-time leading scorer. In July 2019, Conley was traded to the Utah Jazz, where he continued to display his skills on the court before being traded to the Timberwolves in 2023.

Throughout his career, Conley has received numerous accolades, including being named to the NBA All-Defensive Second Team in 2013 and winning the NBA Sportsmanship Award in 2014, 2016, and 2019. In 2019, he was also acknowledged as the NBA Teammate of the Year, a testament to his positive influence and leadership within his team. In 2021, Conley was an All-Star for the first time in his career.

Conley showcased his talent at a young age, playing high school basketball in Indiana. He was selected for the McDonald's All American Team and named to the Parade All-American Third Team. Conley attended Ohio State for a year, earning First Team All-Big Ten honors.

Aside from his basketball career, Conley is known to be a devoted Christian and often speaks about the importance of his faith. He is the son of Mike Conley Sr., an Olympic gold and silver medalist in track and field, and the nephew of former American football linebacker Steve Conley.
