Legendary Professional Golf Caddy

Mike "Fluff" Cowan is a seasoned professional golf caddie with 40 years of experience on the PGA Tour. As an integral part of the golfing industry, Cowan has worked with an array of successful golfers, including Ed Sabo, Peter Jacobsen, Tiger Woods, Jim Furyk, and C.T. Pan. With a multi-sport athletic background extending from high school to college golf, Cowan has an in-depth understanding of the sport, making him a valuable asset to any golfer he works with.

Cowan's career is marked by several notable milestones. He worked alongside Peter Jacobsen from 1978 to 1996, with whom he shared six PGA Tour wins. He then signed up to be Tiger Woods' first PGA Tour caddie, and was instrumental in Woods' first major title win at the Masters Tournament in 1997 by routing the field by 12 strokes.

Cowan has been working with Furyk since 1999 and was on the bag when Furyk won his first major at the 2003 U.S. Open, when he became the first player in the history of the PGA Tour to shoot a 58 at the 2016 Travelers Championship, and was again by his side for the 2021 US Senior Open win.

Beyond the golfing green, Cowan is known for his unique nickname "Fluff," earned due to his resemblance to professional golfer and broadcaster Steve Melnyk. He is an avowed "Deadhead" and a member of the prestigious Congressional Country Club. Residing in Maryland with his wife Jennifer and their daughter, Bobbie, Cowan continues to make significant contributions to the world of golf, showcasing his deep knowledge of the game and the strategic insight gained from his extensive career.

Cowan is one of the best-known caddies in the game’s history, earning him induction into the Caddie Hall of Fame.
