Michael Crowley is President and limited partner of the Oakland Athletics. Now in his tenth year, Crowley’s responsibilities include all aspects of business and baseball.  Crowley developed a business model that provides affordable entertainment, excellent customer services, and championship caliber teams.  The A’s front office is recognized as one of baseball’s best. 

Crowley continues the Athletics’ tradition of intense commitment to the community.  The A’s Community Fund donates approximately $500,000 annually to charities across the Bay Area. 

Crowley graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a BS in business administration and accounting. He earned his MBA from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business. Crowley received Street & Smith’s Sports Business Journal’s “40 under 40” in 2002, honoring the nation’s top sport executives under the age of 40. Crowley and his wife Kathy reside in Cupertino, CA, and have three children, ages 17, 14, and 10.
