Mike Dilbeck is the founder of the RESPONSE ABILITY (RA) Project and also serves as President and Principal Producer of BECK & CO., LLC *. As the Founder of the RA Project, Mike now dedicates himself fully to this life-changing initiative.  Currently, much of his time is spent as a professional speaker. He travels the country empowering others to be an everday hero in their life and not participate in bystander behavior. Every year he speaks to tens of thousands of people and he was named "Rookie of the Year" for CAMPUSPEAK in 2011, and recently became a member of the National Speakers Association. When he is not traveling, he works on expanding the RA Project and its message, writing articles and blog posting, appearing in the media, conducting trainings and workshops, and fundraising.

In 1990, after serving for two years as Assistant Executive Director for Sigma Nu International Fraternity and producing more than 20 video programs and two international conventions for the fraternity, Mike established a reputation for creating and producing effective and powerful video presentations and special events. After working with executives from other organizations, Mike realized there was a market needing his skills and expertise. BECK & CO. was founded to provide high-end video/film and special event production services for its clients.  Since 1990, Mike has produced over 60 educational, promotional and fundraising video presentations for clients and won numerous awards.  The RESPONSE ABILITY Project is the latest, and most successful, project Mike has created and produced.

In 1998, Mike expanded his expertise and entered the world of non-profit fundraising where he was instrumental in raising millions of dollars for people living with HIV/AIDS. He has served as the Director of the inaugural Texas AIDS Ride, Director of Special Events for the AIDS Foundation of Chicago (AFC), and Program Director for the first three years of the National AIDS Marathon Training Program and for the inaugural year of TEAM TO END AIDS (T2) – both endurance training programs benefitting AFC.  He most recently served as National Director for T2 and resigned in August, 2011 to devote himself full-time to the RA Project.

On a personal note, Mike is single and lives in Chicago. He enjoys playing tennis, biking and has run five marathons, three half marathons and cycled in 12 long-distance AIDS Rides around the country.
