Mike is a pediatrician and entrepreneur from rural Indiana where he started his career as a social worker focused on child protection, trafficking, and immigration. International development came next when he started a school in Uganda and later postponed med school to raise money for an orphanage helping kids disabled by the 2010 Haiti earthquake. Today his focus is child poverty in America; a patient of his is the inspiration for StreetCred. Mike holds an MD/MBA from Stanford.
