Mike Myers gained his comic footing in the Second City Comedy Troupe in Chicago before achieving recognition as a central cast member of "Saturday Night Live" from 1989, where he created memorable characters like Linda Richman and Sprockets. He later achieved success in Hollywood with iconic roles in films such as "Shrek," "Wayne's World," and the "Austin Powers" trilogy. Myers also made notable contributions as a director, making his debut with the documentary "Supermensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon," which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and earned an Emmy nomination for "Outstanding Arts and Cultural Programming."

Myers's voice work as the title character in the "Shrek" series, including "Shrek," "Shrek 2," "Shrek the Third," and "Shrek Forever After," is widely recognized. His film "So I Married an Axe Murderer" has become a cult classic.
