Mike Volpe is the CMO at Cybereason, the fastest-growing cybersecurity startup in Boston. He was also part of the founding team at HubSpot, where he helped grow the company from 5 people to over 1,000 employees, as well as $150m in revenue and a successful IPO. Mike is also active in the startup community as a member of the board of directors for Repsly, as an advisor to Drift, Privy, UserTesting, Digital Ocean, OnShape, Drafted and others, and as an angel investor and a founding partner of the “non-fund” Operator.VC.

Mike Volpe is an angel investor and startup growth advisor. Mike has made more than 20 angel investments with 4 exits so far (HubSpot, Locately, GroSocial, ThriveHive). Mike serves as an advisor to a number of companies and is on the board of directors of two SaaS startups.

Mike has worked in marketing at a number of different startups in Boston and San Francisco. Mike’s last operational role was as part of the founding team at HubSpot where he served as CMO and helped the company grow from about a dozen beta customers to over 15,000 customers, 1,000 employees, $150m in revenue, and an IPO leading to a $1.7B market cap.
