Miranda Cosgrove currently portrays Shea Moore in the new NBC comedy "Crowded."

Cosgrove was featured in the animated smash hit "Despicable Me 2," reprising her role from "Despicable Me" as Margo, alongside Steve Carell and Kristen Wiig. The 2013 film earned more than $900 million worldwide. Other film credits include "School of Rock," "Yours, Mine & Ours" and "Keeping Up with the Steins."

Cosgrove is known to many for her starring role on the popular Nickelodeon series "iCarly," which was a huge domestic and international success. She starred in the title role as Carly Shay, a teenager who lives with her twentysomething brother/guardian and produces webcasts from a makeshift loft studio with her two best friends.

Cosgrove got her big break when she landed the highly sought-after role of Megan Parker on Nickelodeon's "Drake & Josh." She played the deceptively sweet, mischievous little sister whose scene-stealing role led to her own show, "iCarly."

Other TV credits include a guest-starring appearance as a troubled pop star on a 2010 episode of the Emmy Award-nominated series "The Good Wife," opposite Julianna Margulies.

On the recording front, Cosgrove's first solo album, "Sparks Fly," debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard chart in 2010. She co-wrote the first single, "Kissin U," with top producer Dr. Luke, which is officially certified RIAA gold with more 500,000 singles sold. Her five-song EP "High Maintenance" was released in 2011. She also recorded four original songs for the first "iCarly" soundtrack.

In 2011, Cosgrove was honored as the Best Role Model in a Digital Age at the Common Sense Media Awards, alongside President Bill Clinton. She is one of the faces of Neutrogena, alongside Gabrielle Union, Hayden Panettiere, Susie Castillo, Jennifer Garner, Diane Lane and Emma Roberts.

Cosgrove was born in Los Angeles, where she currently resides.
