Grammy Award-Winning Violinist, Producer, Humanitarian & UN Goodwill Ambassador of Music

Miri Ben-Ari is a Grammy Award-Winning violinist, producer, humanitarian, and “UN Goodwill Ambassador of Music” to the United Nations. Originally from Israel, she has created her own unique sound – a revolutionary fusion of classical, Hip Hop, and dance music. She is the modern violin trendsetter and is recognized as a musical pioneer.

As a classically trained violinist who once studied under the late classical master Isaac Stern, Ben-Ari has helped sell millions of records by collaborating with other Grammy award-winning artists such as Kanye West, Jay Z, Wyclef Jean, Alicia Keys, Wynton Marsalis, Britney Spears, Maroon 5, Akon, Patti Labelle, Akon, Donna Summer, Janet Jackson, John Legend, Aventura, Fetty Wap, and Armin Van Buuren. Her album "The Hip Hop Violinist" features many of these collaborations.

Ben-Ari is the first violinist to winning a Grammy in the Hip Hop category, and having a featured artist credit on popular songs and music videos in Hip Hop, Latin, EDM, and Afrobeats music. Her violin performances asre featured on over 50 hit songs and have received dozens of awards.

Ben-Ari's song “Symphony of Brotherhood” ft Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was created with a deep purpose of bringing harmony to the world and carrying MLK’s timeless message and legacy. This song was awarded by activist Al Sharpton and Israeli President Shimon Peres and was chosen as a special performance at the White House by first lady Michelle Obama. As a co-founder of the non for profit organization “Gedenk,” Ben-Ari served as a CEO for 10 years, promoting Holocaust awareness and tolerance to the youth.

Among her accolades are the Grammy Award for Best Rap Song, an Apollo Legend by the Apollo theater in New York City, International Jewish Woman to Watch, the Martin Luther King Award from Israeli President, Shimon Peres, Remarkable Woman by First Lady Michelle Obama, Girl Up Advocate Award from the United Nations Foundation, and the Ellis Island Medal of Honor by Neco.

Ben-Ari's recent collaboration with African artist Diamond Platnumz entitled “Baila” has garnered millions of views and won the Best Collaboration award at the African Entertainment Awards USA. She also recently teamed up with a Nigerian producer to create project Afrostringz, fusing African music with the sound of Strings.
