Mohamed Al-Abdalla is Energy & Water Sector Manager in Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA). In addition to promoting investment opportunities in Renewable Energy, Conventional Energy, Sea Water Desalination, and Water Sectors, he’s looking after a strategic investment project, the Maritime Industries Complex in Ras Al-Khair on the Arabian Gulf. Mohamed earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1996 from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, Dhahran-Saudi Arabia and earned his MBA from University of Bahrain in 2001. Mohamed started his career with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in in building a 2400MW power plant for Saudi Electricity Company. Since then he has been exposed to different career areas such Supply Chain, Contracting, Quality Mgt., Support Services, Finance, Project Management and finally Investment Attraction. Those areas were across different industries like Manufacturing, EPC, Oil & Gas and Public Sector.
