Mohammad Danesh is the co-founder and chief technology officer of Trancelestial Technologies, a Singapore-based space technology startup. Its product, Centauri 1.0, has the capability to use a space laser network and nanosatellites to deliver high-speed internet anywhere on Earth.

The company raised $2.5 million in seed funding led by Wavemaker Partners in partnership with Seeds Capital. Other participants in the round included Airtree Ventures, 500 Startups and angel investors such as Y-Combinator chief executive Michael Seibel.
