Molly Tuttle          

Award-Winning Singer, Songwriter and Guitarist in Bluegrass Tradition

Molly Tuttle is a singer, songwriter, guitar and banjo player. In 2017 and 2018, she won the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) Award for Guitar Player of the Year. She was the first woman to ever win that award. She is renowned for her prodigious flatpicking, clawhammer and cross-picking guitar abilities.

Tuttle attended Berklee College of Music in Boston on scholarships for music and composition. She also received the Foundation for Bluegrass Music's first Hazel Dickens Memorial Scholarship. In 2012, she won the Chris Austin Songwriting Competition at MerleFest. In 2015, she moved from Boston to Nashville, Tennessee. Her debut full-length solo album, When You're Ready, was released in April 2019.
