Mona Kattan, an Iraqi-American businesswoman, is the Global President of Huda Beauty, which she co-founded alongside her sisters Huda and Alya Kattan. A driving force behind the launch of Huda Beauty, Kattan saw potential when her sister, Huda, a makeup artist, started designing her own faux lashes and encouraged her to create a product line.

Together in 2013, they launched a line of faux eyelashes at Sephora, and the debut collection sold out almost immediately. As co-founder, Kattan contributed significantly to growing the company to a valuation of $1B, with a line of groundbreaking products that includes everything from body foundation to lip contouring pencils, melted eyeshadow to 3D highlighters, all of which are globally distributed at leading retailers including Sephora, Harrod’s, Net-a-Porter and others.

As President, Kattan continues to grow the Huda Beauty brand, overseeing brand strategy and driving innovation. In 2018, she further expanded her entrepreneurial efforts by founding KAYALI fragrances, inspired by her rich Middle Eastern heritage. The fragrances hold importance to her as each one tells a special story and are cruelty-free. Collaborating with renowned perfumers and sourcing the finest ingredients, she has amassed a coveted collection of over 4,000 fragrances in her perfume library.

Kattan has not only built a global social media audience with more than 2.4 million Instagram followers, but her engaged community now amounts to over 4 million followers who engage with her inspiring beauty content, fun-loving attitude and positive energy. Featured on the cover of WWD, Entrepreneur Middle East and Cosmopolitan Middle East, she was born and raised in the United States and now resides in Dubai.
