Canadian stunt woman and actress who works in television and film

From a young age, Monique achieved top levels in track and field, equestrian show jumping, gymnastics, driving, and skating; she also became a certified snowboard instructor and had a keen interest in martial arts.

After a conversation with Sylvester Stallone and finding herself on a television set mesmerized by a stunt-woman shooting the place up, her internal physical passion was triggered. Monique decided to leave the world of modeling and pursue a career of action, stunts and acting.

Monique enrolled in acting classes and started stunt doubling for many of Hollywood's biggest stars including: Nicole Kidman, Rebecca Romijn, Famke Janssen, Darryl Hannah, Sigourney Weaver, and more. She quickly became one of the most sought after in her field.

Monique invaded CW's "Smallville" season nine, where fans fell in love with her role of the fearless but vulnerable ninja assassin Alia. She also had leading roles in ABC's pilot "Inseperable," as well as ABC's mini-series "Fallen." Other notable acting credits include "Twilight: Eclipse," "Sucker Punch," "Cabin in the Woods," "King of Fighters," "Conan the Barbarian," and "Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters."

In addition to acting, Monique has been producing her own work through her production company, SamMo Entertainment. Her short films have been accepted into over 10 film festivals throughout North America and Costa Rica.

She also plays the role of Death in the 2016 film "X-Men: Apocalypse."
