Monisha Kaltenborn is an accomplished lawyer and business leader, best known for her pioneering role in Formula 1 as the first female team principal. Kaltenborn began her career in motorsport in 2000 when she joined Sauber, a Formula 1 team based in Switzerland, initially working in the legal department. By 2010, she became the CEO of the Sauber F1 Team and was later appointed team principal in 2012, breaking barriers as the first woman to hold such a position in the sport’s history. Her leadership helped guide the team through significant changes in the highly competitive racing landscape.

Born in India and raised in Austria, Kaltenborn studied law at the University of Vienna and later completed her master's at the London School of Economics.
