Mr. Mark Angelson  

Former Chairman and CEO, World Color Press

Mark Angelson was Chairman and CEO of World Color Press Inc. until its recent sale to Quad/Graphics and is Chairman of the Quad/Graphics board committee on Integration and Consolidation.

He served from 2007-2009 as Chairman of MidOcean Partners. As CEO of RR Donnelley, Mr. Angelson led the 2003-2007 transformation of the printing industry, combining RR Donnelley and other leading firms in the Americas, Europe and Asia and creating the world's largest provider of printing and related services.

Previously, Mr. Angelson served as CEO of Moore Wallace. He was a principal architect of the merger of RR Donnelley and Moore Wallace and the earlier merger of Wallace and Moore, where he served as non-executive Chairman and Lead Independent Director. Mr. Angelson also served as Deputy Chairman of Big Flower Press and Chancery Lane Capital.

He began his career in 1975 as a lawyer with Sullivan & Cromwell. Between 1982 and 1995, he practiced with Sidley & Austin, serving as Co-Chair of International Operations and Resident Managing Partner of the law firm's offices in Singapore, New York and London.

Mr. Angelson is a Trustee and a member of the investment committee of the board of Northwestern University, where he teaches mergers and acquisitions at the Kellogg School of Management. He is Treasurer and a Trustee of the Institute of International Education, where he is actively involved in the Fulbright Scholarship Program and IIE's Scholar Rescue Fund. Mr. Angelson is a Member of the Council on Foreign Relations and of the Pilgrims and is a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce.
