Mukti is a spiritual teacher from the California Bay Area where she and her husband, Adyashanti, founded Open Gate Sangha in 1996 to cultivate the awakening of consciousness in those who yearn for truth, peace, and freedom. Prior to becoming a student of Adyashanti, Mukti studied the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda for over 20 years. In her own teachings, Mukti points audiences back to their natural state of wholeness or undivided consciousness. Licensed in acupuncture and certified to teach hatha yoga, Mukti has a love of the whole of experience in form, as well as of the formless. She offers private meetings, leads monthly meditations, and is available for group satsangs and intensives by invitation.
