Nadiyah Herron

Tedx Presenter, Motivational Speaker, AD. Professor, Corporate Trainer, Life Changer

Nadiyah Herron’s journey is inclusive of resilience, determination, and drive, that encapsulate her motto “live free.”

Drawing from her personal experience: trauma, childhood abuse, the absence of her biological father, and various other obstacles, Herron’s life story allows her to connect with others who are determined to be overcomers!

Herron's unique perspective on self awareness, confronting obstacles head on, is about being aware of self, what prohibits growth, to help individuals recognize patterns that stifle personal development and lifelong success. Lastly, she focuses on living a life rooted in empathy, to create personal connections that accelerate trust, improve relationships, and personal and professional success. Through Herron’s ability to connect with people on a human level she is able to offer insight to break cycles of debilitative thinking, habits and behaviors and turn them into success.

Adding to her expertise Herron obtained Mental Health training from Mental Health America (MHA), to be better equipped with awareness of trauma, the rising mental health and substance abuse disorders on the rise in the workplace. In addition to being certified in Diversity and Inclusion from ESSEC International Business School, Herron maintains a master’s degree in Strategic Communication, a minor in Sociology, a bachelor’s in English, and attended Pepperdine University, National University, and the University of California Riverside.

Herron has hosted, written, been a guest, or worked in production for the following networks/media outlets: TBN, TBN Salsa, WAM, E! Entertainment Television, ABC 7 Eyewitness News, Marriage.com, and NBC Universal Hosting Workshop Finalist (training only).

Herron's passion is never more evident than when she's changing students’ lives for the better. Whether she's encouraging students through personal development and self-reflection or helping them to recognize their full potential. Herron dedicates much of her efforts to causes involving victims of trauma and childhood abuse, foster youth, and traditionally underrepresented communities around the globe. She is currently developing free workshops for victims of trauma and childhood abuse and working on her new book detailing how she leveraged life's obstacles in exchange for victory.

Where Herron goes passion and success follow.

"Everyone has that voice. The one that handicaps you with emotional baggage. The one that says you can't. The one that convinces you that you are not good enough. The one from childhood that keeps you bound. Once you realize that voice is a liar, you are no longer bound. You are free. Live free." - Nadiyah Herron
