Global Chief Marketing Officer of VICE Media & Former Executive Partner for Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide

Nadja Bellan-White is the Global Chief Marketing Officer of VICE Media as of October 2020. She is a C-Suite veteran with past positions including Executive Partner for Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide and CEO of Ogilvy Africa. Bellan-White is the first to assume the newly-created global position at VICE, uniting VICE Media Group’s portfolio and teams across marketing, branding and communications internationally under one pillar. She is known as the “fixer”- the person brands call when they are facing challenges in brand transformation. Bellan-White utilizes her 25-plus year career in integrated marketing and communications to transform brands. Prior to her position at VICE, Bellan-White was the Executive Partner for Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide where she was responsible for leading the brand transformation for Dove at Unilever. There she coordinated Dove's "Courage Is Beautiful" campaign which won the Print and Publishing Grand Prix along with gold honors in the same category at the Cannes Lions Awards and won Silver in five categories at the Clio Awards, two of the most prestigious awards in the advertising industry.

During her time at Ogilvy, Bellan-White led brand work for American Express, LG Electronics, IKEA North America, Coca-Cola, Siemens and Safaricom/Vodafone. In 2014 she was promoted to CEO of Ogilvy Africa in Nairobi, Kenya where she managed its business across the continent, working with presidents and leaders in driving business growth in multiple countries. Her extensive experience makes her one of the world's foremost authorities on building a digital brand that truly makes a long-term impact its audience.

A champion of diversity and inclusion in the media industry, Bellan-White helped develop Ogilvy/WPP Roots, an organization dedicated to driving cultural diversity and inclusion across Europe. She is the recipient of AdColor’s Legend Award for her excellence in advertising, media and communications and last year was named as one of Savoy Magazine’s top 100 Women in Corporate America. Bellan-White is an A Better Chance, Inc. Scholar recipient; earned a BA in Foreign Affairs and Spanish from The University of Virginia and an MBA from NYU- Stern School of Business. She is the daughter of two immigrants and the first in her family to graduate from college.
