Nadja Halilbegovich

Author, War Survivor, Captivating keynote speaker

Known as the Bosnian Anne Frank, Nadja Halilbegovich has been a professional speaker for over decade. She has brought her message of peace and hope to well over a half of a million people in person across the globe. As a young girl, Nadja endured the war in her native Bosnia and was injured by a bomb at age 13. She shared these experiences in her diary, which was published the following year.

After her escape to the United States at age 16, Nadjas message of peace made her a popular speaker and put her on the same stage as dignitaries such as Archbishop Desmond Tutu. She was featured in the book Architects of Peace alongside Mother Teresa, Nelson Mandela and the Dalai Lama. Nadjas popular book My Childhood Under Fire has been published in English, French and Indonesian.

Nadjas moving presentation and poignant message covers an extensive array of topics such as personal growth and inspiration, leadership and motivation, education and literacy, peace and conflict, tolerance and multiculturalism, war remembrance and women's empowerment.
