Nairi directs Canaan's marketing and communications program and advises the firm’s technology and healthcare portfolios. Previously, Nairi was Uber’s first head of global communications.

At Uber, she built the team and function from scratch and led hundreds of campaigns. She spent her early career in politics and advocacy. PRWeek and Business Insider both recently named Nairi to their lists of top PR leaders.

Nairi holds an M.A. in Public Policy from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government and a B.A. in English and Government from Georgetown University.
