Youth Speaker, Singer, Songwriter Who Chose Faith Over Fame

Naomi Striemer was born in upstate New York and grew up with Christian Parents, homeschooled on a farm in Nova Scotia, Canada.

Signing her first major record deal with Epic/Sony at 18 years old Naomi has travelled the world writing and recording music ever since with some of the most highly critically acclaimed and commercially successful writers and producers in the music business of our time; including Narada Michael Walden (Whitney, Mariah, Aretha), Mario Winans (Puff Daddy, Beyonce), Marius DeVries (Bjork, Madonna) Peter Zizzo (Celine Dion, Avril Lavigne, Jennifer Lopez) and American Idol’s Randy Jackson.

She has recorded with guitar legend Carlos Santana on her self written single ‘Cars’, that topped charts in Canada, as well as being hailed the ‘melodic debut of the year’ by Billboard Magazine, who also called her the ‘diva of the decade’.

Naomi crossed over from Mainstream pop/rock music to pursue Christian Contemporary music after having an encounter with a man in Sean ‘Puff Daddy’ Comb’s studio who she describes as her ‘angel’.

Since making the switch Naomi has been nominated for numerous Christian music awards and had chart topping radio success in the CCM market. She is currently a highly sought after speaker, co-authoring an upcoming book on her life and experiences and is working on her next Christian Contemporary album which is due out in 2011.
