Natalie Allen is an anchor for CNN International after having spent 10 years as an anchor for CNN from 1992-2001.

Natalie Allen is an anchor for CNN International after having spent 10 years as an anchor for CNN from 1992-2001. Allen also served as News Anchor for MSNBC.
As a correspondent for NBC, she has appeared live on "The Nightly News," "The Today Show" and CNBC. 

In her decade as a CNN domestic Anchor, she was on the air through critical moments in our nation's history including the Oklahoma City Bombing, the Presidential
Election of 2000 and 9/11. She covered the 2004 Presidential Inauguration for MSNBC and reported live on the funeral for President Ronald Reagan in Washington. 

For two years beginning in 2007, Allen served as The Weather Channel's first full-time environment and climate correspondent. As Primary Anchor for the network's weekly news
program, "Forecast Earth," Allen traveled the country interviewing environmental pioneers and leaders in the green movement; sailing with arctic explorer Sir Robert Swan, diving with renown
oceanographer Dr. Sylvia Earle among many others. She has also profiled the greenest CEO in the country, the greenest team in the NFL and green venture capitalists. 

Allen also reported on local green innovators in "Forecast Earth's" segment "Grassroots Green," and in "Eco-Extremes," she shared the passion of people willing to do whatever it takes to raise
awareness for environmental causes. She has conducted numerous interviews on climate science and environmental research with Weather Channel climatologists. She has written a weekly blog
and contributed reports for WeatherChannel.com and appeared nightly on The Weather Channel with “Forecast Earth Eco-Updates."

 Allen started her career at WREG-TV in Memphis, Tennessee, becoming the first newsroom intern
elevated to General Assignments Reporter while still a student. Three years later she was named Co-Anchor of WREG'S 10pm News. 

At WFTV in Orlando, she covered the Kennedy Space Center and co-anchored the top-rated morning news show "Daybreak." She earned an Emmy Award and Edward R. Murrow Award
for News Reporting and was voted "Favorite Morning Personality" by The Florida Today Newspaper.

 Allen Served for three years as the keynote speaker for Atlanta Magazine's "Women Making a Mark" Awards Program. She has been a guest speaker for numerous organizations and in 2008 was
featured by Atlantan Magazine in an entitled "The Green Queen."
She was also interviewed by National Public Radio for her role at The Weather Channel in environmental reporting and "Forecast Earth." 

She has also been featured in many news articles and magazines including The Commercial Appeal's Mid-South Magazine, Atlanta Magazine, Jezebel Magazine's "Most Beautiful Atlantans" and The Chicago Tribune.

 She has appeared in the movies "Contact" and "Castaway" and was featured in an episode of the sitcom 
"Mad About You."
