Mr. Madatov received his bachelor's and master's degree in international economics at the Azerbaijan State Economic University. In 2005-2010 he has worked in the National Coordination Unit for European Union Technical Assistance for Azerbaijan. From 2010 to September 2012 he has worked as a senior consultant and Head of Cooperation with EU Division of Cooperation and Deputy Head of Interstate Economic Cooperation Department in the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Azerbaijan. While working in public administration he coordinated issues related to EU integration and coordination of EU technical assistance and development of bilateral economic relations. Since September 2012 Mr. Madatov is the Head of Investment Promotion Department of Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO).
