Neil Bakewell is The Big Change Guy

After graduating he entered the corporate world selling rotating machinery spare parts to the oil industry. He was responsible for over $7 million dollars of sales a year in the UK, South Africa, Iran, Iraq and Libya. All at the age of 21.

At 25 he left the corporate world to start his own business with his wife in the UK care sector. Learning as he went and making many mistakes along the way, the business grew rapidly and in its first year of trading turned over $1.5 million Not bad considering not one invoice was raised in the first three months! Exciting times when you don't invoice for three months.

Despite this success Neil had a serious problem. A bad stutter at the age of nine and the resultant bullying on the playground made him turn to food for comfort. Twenty years later, he was still turning to food to solve any problem that raised its head in his life So much so that he found himself clocking in on the scales at 603 pounds and he was given a mere five years left to live.

Today, he has lost over 320 pounds and works as a speaker and coach on an international level. Amazing when you consider at the age of nine he could barely speak.
