Neil Shulman  

American doctor and Medical Writer and is an Associate Professor in the School of Medicine at Emory University

He has been a humorist/comedian and keynote speaker at over 700 seminars, conventions and workshops.Neil has written 17 books – including the book that inspired the smash-hit movie, “Doc Hollywood,” produced videos and feature movies, and co-founded charitable organizations which brighten the lives of nursing home residents, arrange heart surgery for children who could not otherwise obtain it and promote understanding between children of different cultures. He continues to tour the country, using humor to promote preventive medicine and improve communications.

His most popular lecture, "Adding humor to your life: whether in the practice of medicine, nursing, running a business, being a patient or just digging ditches," is one of the funniest, most enjoyable, and informative talks in the United States. His stories about his life in medicine, standup comedy and Hollywood are fascinating and wonderfully entertaining.
