Neil Trevett        

Vice President of Developer Ecosystems at NVIDIA & President of Khronos Group

Neil Trevett is an electrical engineer and executive involved in 3D computer graphics technology. He is Vice President of Developer Ecosystems at NVIDIA, where he enables applications to harness GPU acceleration. Additionally, he has been the elected President of the Khronos Group for over twenty years, where he initiated the OpenGL ES standard used by billions worldwide, helped catalyze the WebGL project to bring interactive 3D graphics to the Web, and helped initiate and establish the new-generation Vulkan GPU API, the OpenXR API for portable augmented and virtual reality, and the glTF run-time 3D asset format.

Trevett also initiated, and is now president of, the Metaverse Standards Forum, which has over 2,400 member organizations. He holds a first-class with honors joint B.Sc. electronic engineering and computer science degree from the University of Birmingham, England.
