Nellie Akalp is a passionate entrepreneur, small business advocate and mother of four. She started her first business, an online legal document filing service, in 1997 and it quickly grew into a large company which was acquired by Intuit in 2009 for $20 million.

Instead of retiring early, Nellie and her husband and business partner launched CorpNet.com, also an online legal document filing service, in 2009. On a daily basis Nellie helps small business owners form an LLC or incorporate a business to start their ventures off the right way. 

Nellie has helped form more than 100,000 corporations and LLCs across the U.S., building a strong passion to assist small business owners and entrepreneurs in starting and protecting their business.

She shares her expert startup tips with readers at Forbes, Entrepreneur, Mashable and more and is a regular guest expert on the Fox Small Business Center.
