Nick Jonas

Multi-Platinum Recording Artist, Award-Winning Songwriter & Member of the Jonas Brothers; Broadway Performer, Actor Known for "Camp Rock" & "The Good Half"; Diabetes Advocate

Nick Jonas is a singer, songwriter, and actor. Jonas began acting in theater at the age of seven and was discovered in a barber shop at the age of six. He released his debut single in 2002, which caught the attention of Columbia Records, prompting Jonas to form a band with his older brothers, Joe and Kevin, known as the Jonas Brothers. The group released their debut studio album "It's About Time" through the Columbia label in 2006. After leaving Columbia Records and signing with Hollywood Records, the group released their self-titled second studio album in 2007, which sold over two million copies in the United States.

The band became prominent figures on Disney Channel during this time, appearing in the successful musical television film "Camp Rock" and its sequel "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam," as well as two of their own series, "Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream" and "Jonas." During the Jonas Brothers' hiatus, he formed a new band known as Nick Jonas & the Administration and made his West End debut performing in "Les Misérables." Among other acting roles, he starred in the drama film "Goat" alongside James Franco in 2016 and had a recurring role as Boone Clemens in the comedy horror series "Scream Queens." Jonas returned to the big screen in 2024 with the film "The Good Half."

After the group's official disbandment in 2013, Jonas began work on his second solo studio album. He signed with Island Records and released "Nick Jonas" through the label in 2014, which saw the commercial success of the single "Jealous." That same year, he co-founded Safehouse Records, a record label in conjunction with the Island and Hollywood labels. His third studio album, "Last Year Was Complicated," peaked at number two on the Billboard 200 chart in the United States.

The Jonas Brothers reformed in early 2019 and released the album "Happiness Begins" in June of that year. In 2021, Jonas hosted the Billboard Music Awards and released his fourth solo studio album, "Spaceman." He also hosted "Saturday Night Live" and announced the nominees for the 93rd Academy Awards. Beyond his successful music and acting career, Jonas has been involved in various business ventures, including launching a shoe collection called 1410 with Creative Recreation, releasing a spring clothing line and fragrances in collaboration with John Varvatos, and co-founding Villa One, an ultra-premium tequila brand, in partnership with John Varvatos and Stoli Group. Additionally, he has been involved in various philanthropic activities, such as his work as an ambassador for diabetes awareness after being diagnosed with Type 1 at the age of 13.
