Nick Westergaard is a strategist, speaker, author, and educator. His work helps those struggling to stand out in our crowded, distracted world.

As Chief Strategist at Brand Driven Digital, he’s spent his career building standout brands at organizations of all sizes—from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies to President Obama’s Jobs Council. As a lecturer at the University of Iowa’s Tippie College of Business, he teaches students and professionals how to craft standout presentations that drive action. Nick is the author of Brand Now and Get Scrappy and a sought-after keynote speaker at conferences and corporate events throughout the world.

A contributor to the Harvard Business Review, Nick is a go-to source for the press including US News & World Report, Entrepreneur, Forbes, Mashable, and more. As host of the popular On Brand podcast, he has interviewed leaders like Seth Godin, Guy Kawasaki, Laura Ries, and Tom Peters as well as brand builders from companies like Adobe, Ben & Jerry’s, Maker’s Mark, the Minnesota Vikings, The Onion, Salesforce, and Whole Foods. He even interviewed Alan Alda once!

Nick has served as a TEDx speaker coach and a mentor at the Iowa Startup Accelerator. Nick sits on boards for the University of Iowa School of Journalism and Mass Communication, the Iowa City Area Chamber of Commerce, and FilmScene.

He lives with his wife, five kids, two dogs, and one cat in Coralville, Iowa.
