Nicole Jain has dedicated her career to public service and leadership, specifically in the realm of K-12 public education policy and management. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy from the University of Southern California (USC) and a Masters degree in Education Policy and Management from Harvard University.
Jain’s work places a significant emphasis on educational equity for underserved communities, drawing on her extensive experience with school turnaround initiatives at Chicago Public Schools and the unified enrollment initiative at Los Angeles Unified School District. Her commitment to ensuring every child has access to a quality education has driven her to participate in impactful projects both domestically and internationally. Early in her career, she was involved in transforming a government primary school in a small village in Northern India, showcasing her dedication to ground-level educational improvements.
Apart from her contributions to education, Jain actively engages in other social issues. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Pad Project, focusing on women's reproductive health and menstrual care, and is also a board member of the Lotus Petal Foundation and USC Rishi, organizations that support underprivileged children in India. Additionally, Jain has authored a children’s book titled "Our Mom, Our Superhero," which addresses mental health issues aimed at providing young children with tools to understand and manage mental health struggles. Currently, Jain is producing a documentary that addresses human rights issues facing women and girls globally, further expanding her advocacy to encompass global human rights education.
