Nigel Waller combines a keen interest and deep understanding of the telecom software space with over 22 years of experience in emerging and mature markets worldwide. He is passionate about delivering the benefits of technological innovation to end-users and the social economic benefits this can bring about and has worked closely with over 200 service providers to implement solutions that deliver subscriber growth and generate lasting loyalty. Nigel’s ability to understand and clearly communicate complex technical issues, coupled with an appreciation of the emerging markets business and market dynamics, enable him to support operators in delivering solution to people in need.

Prior to Movirtu, Nigel worked with leading blue chip companies such as Bharti Telesoft, Glenayre, Schlumberger, Sema Group and Nortel and start-ups such as RateIntegration. In these companies he held a number of senior executive positions having lived in various emerging market countries and gained extensive international experience in Sub-Sahara Africa, Middle East, South Asia, Eastern Europe and Latin America.

Nigel holds a degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from the University of Birmingham. He is a Member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology, a Chartered Engineer, a Member of the Association for Project Management, and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. He sits on various Boards including the International Association for Enhance Voice Services and is a Non-Executive Director for MBR Partners.
